Summer Solo Studio Practice # 2

I enter the studio and immediately see flashing lights. I haven’t had a migraine in six months, but I know it’s coming.

I lay down in constructive rest and breathe. Maybe if I can imagine breath filling my brain I can keep the pain at bay.

The flashing light stops and my head screams.

I begin the long walk home.

I try not to worry about lost time. It’s all part of the process, eh?
